Q. What do you bring to the table?
Wine, usually. And a kickass party called Lisapalooza when I’m back in town. Besides that, a grandiose love for Firespring and the audiences I write for. The ability to engage with readers quickly. A good understanding of the nonprofit world. Passion for my job. And hopefully, at least some of the time, a little humor, wit, fun and creativity.
Q. What do you love about Firespring?
The fact that the company still puts up with me even though I’m 1700 miles away most of the time… or maybe it’s BECAUSE I’m 1700 miles away? Either way, I love that I still feel very connected and engaged even after 2.5 years of a long-distance relationship. I adore my fellow Firespringers. And I love that I still get up in the morning excited to start my job. I still feel very motivated and challenged to bring it every day.
Q. What’s something interesting about you?
I’m currently learning Italian and having a steamy love affair with Italy. (Also devising a business plan that will, no doubt, convince Jay of why we need a Firespring presence in Rome.) I hate sushi even though I’m surrounded by it in the Bay Area. I live within 90 minutes of Napa, San Francisco, Monterey, Carmel and Half Moon Bay, and I love to host guests, so any Firespringer is welcome to come crash at my pad anytime they wish.
